The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Centre is designed for children aged 2 to 18 with disabilities. It is an institution of the state system of social protection of the population and provides comprehensive rehabilitation for children and adolescents with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, cerebral palsy, speech pathology, hearing and visual impairments, as well as mental developmental disabilities.
The building to be reconstructed is a non-residential, former railway outpatient clinic. It was built in 1895 and is now on the register of historical monuments of local significance. The building has not been in use for the last three years.
The project envisages the construction of a gym equipped with a universal cabin for suspension therapy, designed for kinesiotherapy using the method of suspension and block therapy. In addition, bars for obstacle course training, a ceiling lift, a rehabilitation table, etc. will be installed. The ceiling beam is fixed permanently, while the rest of the equipment can move freely around the room.
All other rooms are equipped according to their purpose.
A description of the premises and equipment specifications are provided in the project’s technical specifications section. The equipment and furniture are certified, have a modern design, are of domestic and imported manufacture, and are made of materials approved for use in Ukraine.
